Golf is a sport, in which different competing players that are known as golfers, play by hitting a small ball into each hole on a course with the help of different types of clubs, using number of strokes and shots.

Most of the games require a standardized playing area, but the golf is played on golf courses that are available in different unique designs. These courses may have either 9 or 18 holes.

In golf competition, normally game is played for the lowest number of shots by a player that is known as Stroke Play. But during a complete round the lowest number of score on the all individual holes by a team or individual is known as Match Play.
