As 2012 began there was much speculation about the changing trends in home electronics, and there are always those who make predictions about what we might see happen in the months ahead. Much to the disappointment of the manufacturers of 3D televisions they were not widely adopted by consumers in 2011. I'm sure there are many reasons for this. So putting all the hype of the 3D television behind us, what exactly changed last year? 2011 is said to have been the year of the tablet. So what then can we expect to see change in 2012?
